For 82 years, Rotarians have been making a difference in the local Paeroa community. Founded in 1943 with a charter from Rotary Auckland, it was the first club in the region. The club later helped establish Rotary Clubs in Thames, Waihi, and Morrinsville, and co-sponsored the Te Aroha club—playing a key role in the development of what is now District 9930 in the Northern Region.
